If you are cancelling your Pre-authorized Plan because your property has sold, it is recommended that if any portion of an installment due while you own the property is not paid in full by your Pre-authorized payments, it should be paid prior to closing. Any changes or cancellations must be received fourteen(14) days prior to the next due date of the pre-authorized debit. If notice is not given to cancel the plan when a sale occurs any payments withdrawn after the sale date will remain on the account and it will be the vendor's responsibility to negotiate these payments with their lawyers and the purchasers lawyers.
